The company combines skilled teams with advanced knitting machinery and over 60 years of experience in the sector to manufacture basic, technical, knee-high and speciality socks, all while ensuring comfort, durability and precision in every product.
Since expanding in 2010, Merdal Çorap has also undertaken glove and synthetic yarn production within its 65,000 m² facility in Edirne (opened in 2o14). Its focus remains on the source and use of high-quality materials, alongside efficient processes and leveraging of technological innovation to meet and exceed international market standards.

About Merdal Çorap
Founded in 1965 by Yusuf Erdal, Merdal Çorap underwent significant changes in 2010, as management of its day-to-day operations were placed into the capable hands of the family’s younger generation. It saw expansion into production of gloves and synthetic yarn alongside its existing sock trade. The company serves international markets—primarily in Europe—and operates advanced knitting machinery.
In 2014, it opened a 65,000 m² synthetic yarn facility in Edirne (one of Europe’s largest by area).
